Daniel Negreanu has taken out Sean McCabe.

WSOPE officials announced that the top dog will take £1 million and the runner up will take home £570,150.

Andy Black and Jeff Madsen will be joining Bruce.

After the dinner break, Jamie Gold displayed some of his 2006 form when he sent Christopher Bruce to the rail.

Justin Bonomo knocked Doyle Brunson out of the tournament and now he has a shot at Howard Lederer, who just sat down at Bonomo's table.

A slew of eliminations took place with Joe Sebok, Phil Gordon, Alex Kravchenko and Mark Vos all hitting the rail.

There will be two Day 2s it has just been announced.

Doyle Brunson has been eliminated, youngster Justin Bonomo did the deed.

Among the pros playing 1b are Daniel Negreanu, Jamie Gold, Phil Gordon, Joe Sebok and Scotty Nguyen.

The second day of Day 1 begins. Blinds are at $50/$100 and the field has 323 players.
