Before the day ended, Gus Hansen, who has fared well throught the Main Event was eliminated finishing in 10th.
Annette Obrestad is at it again, this time knocking out Kenny Tran.
Holding AD-7D, Pat Scanlon decides to go All-in but Gus Hansen calls with Pocket As. When all is said and done, Scanlon hits the rail finishing in 14th.
Annie Duke was eliminated courtesy of Annette Obrestad.
The chip leader as the day began, Aleksander Vathne was sent packing after going All-in pre-flop holding AH-5H. Gus Hansen matched holding QD-6D. The board was exteremely kind to Hansen too giving him trip Qs, more than enough to eliminate the former chip leader.
Patrik Antonius is eliminated.
Erick Lindgren was eliminated after his two pair (Ks and As) were beaten by Pat Scanlon's triple As.
Going into the second last day of competition Aleksander Vathne is the chip leader with $470,500.
